In the exhibition Solstice, the young artist Eva Medin deploys a new scenography in the Castle. The work is a forest, built from a harvest of used fir trees. It plays on the fragility and expressiveness of “dead” trees, discarded after the holidays, and on the ambiguity of these objects. Halfway between fairy tales, Christmas cribs and horror films, it plays with and shifts various clichés that echo the collective imagination.
