Omar Rodriguez-Sanmartín is an artist in residence at The Station. In the “castle” of Espace à vendre, he will propose a protean display with a set of drawings and sculptures. The artist works with objects that are grafted, mated and combined to form unusual arrangements, monster-like forms that are not frightening because they only show other possibilities, new but ultimately very familiar configurations.
A process of chimerization takes place at the time of the workshop work, during the dissection then the assembly of these forms, which become as potentially alive implying sometimes a projection in a use.
